Notes on my ZZ Plant

I've had my Zamioculcas zamiifolia for three years now and it's barely grown, which honestly doesn't bother me—that's kind of the point with this species. What surprised me is how long it took to realise it actually prefers drying out completely between waterings. Once I stopped fussing, it became genuinely low-maintenance. I water maybe once a month, and the leaflets are finally glossier than they were. Anyone else find they were overwatering theirs initially?
